For sale is this 1971 Chevelle. It will be sold as a turnkey bracket car that consistently runs 9.70's-9.80's. It may also be available as a roller with no engine or trans.

 

Body: 100% rust free body. Car was garaged its whole life. It has full lexan windows, fiberglass bumpers, hood and decklid with an ed quay spoiler. Paint is in very good shape. Car is a back half car, not a full tube chassis car. Car weighs roughly 3250 with driver and a bigblock.

Suspension: Ladder bar rear suspension with coil overs, wilwood front disk brakes, manual steering box amd all new front suspension parts, 90/10 shocks and Moroso drag springs.

Interior: Cage is certified to 8.50. Factory dashboard, full Autometer gauges and tach, 1 fiberglass race bucket and 5 way harness w/window net. Rest of interior is all tinned and finished. It also has a Biondo air controlled Cheetah shifter.

Rear: Narrowed 12 bolt rear with 4.88 pro gears,cover with girdle,race axles and a spool with drum brakes

Wheels/Tires: Weld drag light wheels, 15x3.5 up front with 26" x 4" fronts, very little time on them, with 15"x 14" rears with 33" x 16" slicks with little time on them.

Fuel system: The fuel system in the car consists of a fuel cell, with a #12 outto the Barry Grant 400 filter and pump, into #10 main feed line to a BG regulator, which then goes to 2 #8's for the carburetor.

Ignition: MSD 7al2, Pro Power coil, with 2 step and launch controll and a Dedenbear delay box.

Cooling systems: 4 core aluminum radiator with electric fan.

Engine: The engine is an LS7 454 shortblock with GM aluminum heads mildly ported with a Jesel shaft rocker system, Edelbrock Victor intake manifold with a 1050 BG dominator. It runs a Moroso electric water pump, mini high output altenator, MSD crank trigger ignition and Lemons Step hedders with 4" collectors. Oil pan is a Stefs aluminum and runs a Crower solid roller cam and lifters.

Transmission: Turbo 400 tranny with a transbrake, professionally built by Select Transmissions with a 5500 stall speed convertor.

Performance: Best performance to date is 9.70's @ 134, untuned. There is easy .50's in it.
