M.R.E. offers a very large selection of cylinder heads to choose from. Although we are dealers for specific brands, we use a cylinder that best fits the application. We will not just push the brands we are dealers for. We feel that since there are many castings available, choosing the correct cylinder head for each individual combination will net the best results. Choosing the correct casting, and making it work with the combination is critical. It is not a matter of just getting the biggest casting available or the smallest port with the biggest advertised flow numbers, but the casting that is designed for the application will produce the most power and torque. We do not choose a cylinder head based on flow numbers. We choose a casting from experience knowing what it will take to make the power you are looking for, whether it be for a normally aspirated, blown, or nitrous combinations. We then work with this casting and design the best possible port to help us achieve our goal. A good cylinder head is the key to making horsepower and torque. Below are some of the castings we use to build our winning combinations with.
