Listed in this section are just some of the combinations
we have done in the past, as well as what we have built currently. Although
they may not be all out, big power combinations and do not reflect how
much power we can actually make, each buildup was done for a specific
application and will show what purpose it was built for, and will include
the rest of the drivetrain combination, weight of the car, and actual
track times. They will also include what parts we used in the combination,
what kind of power it made with dyno sheets, pictures and videos on
the dyno (where applicable). We will not be posting every buildup we
do, as we are just too busy but we will try to get some up here and
there as time allows.Keep in mind, each combination that is posted will
be with the owners consent. Since we do build engines for the street
racing crowd, NONE of those particular combinations will be added. Most
of the combinations added in this section will just be to show what
kind of power can be made with a given set of parts, and with a specific
budget and application. We have received alot of emails from guys who
were interested in seeing some buildup pages to compare with their own
combinations, and they are interested in reading up on what kind of
power that can be made with a given setup. They feel it is better than
reading the magazine buildups with all the sponsored parts and basic
setups with inflated power. We agree..the power that is made from these
combinations is actually conservative on the dyno, and is realistic
power made from the parts chosen, designed or modified by M.R.E. We
do NOT have other companies pick and choose our parts for us and we
do not believe in inflated dyno numbers and sponsored buildups. These
are actual buildups, with actual power, and the cars that they are put
in run the actual numbers. The combinations on these pages are not advertisements
as we mostly build custom combinations, so nothing is inflated just
to sell them. These buildups reflect the power that the particular customer
requested and/or fit into their budget. These are not "universal"
crate style engines, as each engine was built for a specific application
and for a specific purpose. Anyone interested in wanting any of these
combinations, or a custom combination for their particular car, feel
free to give a call at the shop for more details. |
